Tiaji Sio is a diplomat and the founder of the diversity network Diplomats of Color. Motivated by the lack of representation in the German foreign service, she launched the initiative to promote inclusion and equity in diplomacy. In her work with the Federal Foreign Office, she combines foreign policy with a deep commitment to anti-racism and diversity. For her impact, she was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and recognized as a Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Awardee. Driven by a strong sense of justice, she has already helped secure the acquittal of two wrongfully imprisoned individuals – a testament to her dedication to making meaningful change.
