Currently, Matthias Tauber leads the Boston Consulting Group‘s business in Germany, Austria, and Central/Eastern Europe and is a member of BCG’s management team in Europe. As of January, Matthias Tauber is moving up internally at the world’s second-largest strategy consultancy to head a newly formed regional unit. This includes business in Europe as a whole, Africa, South America, and the Middle East.

Evelyne de Gruyter is General Manager of the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs, which represents the interests of more than 1,800 female entrepreneurs across all sectors in Germany. The association campaigns for more female entrepreneurship, more women in management positions, and better conditions for women in business. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Technical University (TU) Berlin and participated in the Professional Development Program at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

Martin Huber is a Senior Partner in the German Office of McKinsey & Company and a leader in McKinsey’s Global Insurance Practice. He helps financial-services companies to make better strategic decisions and implements changes. Besides his client activities, Martin is among other things co-founder of “Initiative Chefsache”, a network of executives who are personally committed to equal opportunities for women and men.

“My Name, My Choice – How to stand up for Yourself”
Laleh Osmany is a women’s rights activist who was born in 1992 in Afghanistan; she later studied Islamic Law at Herat University. In 2017 she co-founded the #WhereIsMyName social media campaign. Osmany’s contributions to women’s rights in Afghanistan were acknowledged when she featured on the BBC’s 100 Women list published in 2020. In 2021 she was awarded Afghanistan’s Lady of the Year and is a member of the UN Labor Committee.

Previously, she was President of the German Chemical Employers’ Association, a member of the Board of Management and Labor Director at BASF, and before that Chief Human Resources Officer first at Deutsche Bahn, then at DB Mobility Logistics AG.
